Karori PHO was formed in October 2004 to serve the health needs of the people of Karori.
Mission Statement
Karori PHO will work in partnership with providers, iwi and community groups to maintain and improve the health of the community by ensuring effective access to quality primary health care.
The Organisation
Our vision is to improve the health status of patients who are registered and enrolled with the Karori Medical Centre through the provision of comprehensive, quality health care. The PHO’s priorities are based on the needs and preferences of priority population groups- Maori, Pacific peoples, low income people and others with high needs.
