To my dear and valued patients
2027 will be my 40th year in General Practice at the Karori Medical Centre and it is time for me to make a change, as I’ve worked more or less full-time over this period. I’ll finish on the 31st March 2027.
The building of our new medical centre due to open later in 2027, is an exciting and wonderful thing for us all at the Karori Medical Centre, and for the Karori community that means so much to me and to us.
I cannot express adequately how much these past decades have meant to me, both as a doctor and as a human being –
The challenges, the shared journey with you, the privilege of being alongside you through so many different periods and transitions – birth and death, early childhood years, teenage challenges, middle life and its realities, growing older together – sometimes over 4 generations.
I have long realized that “life is difficult” and that true greatness is most apparent in times of adversity and challenge.
I have witnessed so much “greatness” in my patients over these past decades. Thank you.
The Karori Medical Centre is a wonderful practice where I have had the privilege of working alongside so many wonderful doctors.
Over the coming months we can discuss who might be available to take over your primary care – we have excellent doctors who are taking on new patients.
