Patients are required to make an appointment. We are unable to provide a walk-in service.

- Patients registered with our online patient portal Manage My Health can make appointments online.
- Standard appointments are 15-20 minutes duration. When booking an appointment, please advise us if you require more time than this. A double appointment can then be made.
- A standard apppoinment allows enough time to deal with 1 or 2 concerns / issues. Please come to your appointment prepared to discuss your issues in order of importance to you. If you require more time, the Doctor or Nurse may request that you book an appointment on another day to address your remaining concerns.
- Insurance Medicals and other forms may require a double appointment.
- Nurse Clinics run Weekdays and Saturday mornings and are available only by appointment.
We cannot give medical advice, issue repeat prescriptions or make appointments via email.

Weekends
On Saturdays, two doctors are working from 9am to 12pm for urgent/acute appointments. Appointments can only made on the day. Our phone lines open at 8.30am. These appointments incur an extra charge and are 15 minutes long.
Afterhours
You can see a Doctor at the Wellington After Hours Medical Centre everyday between 8am to 9pm. This is a walk in service- you don’t need to make an appointment. There may be a wait to be seen, as patients are seen in order of the urgency of their presenting condition.
Emergencies
If you need medical assistance between 9pm and 8am please go to the Emergency Department at Wellington Public Hospital or dial 111 for an Ambulance in an emergency situation.
