One week until we launch Well – our new patient portal

The team at Karori Medical Centre are excited to be launching a new patient portal on July 9th called Well!
To help the changeover process please ensure your contact details on Manage My Health are up to date. This is important as your information will transfer across to Well once you register.


Well is replacing the current Manage My Health platform at Karori Medical Centre. But first you will need to register and give consent to use the Well platform.


Well is a trusted and secure platform having passed a 2026 independent security and privacy review against the Health Information Security Framework (HISF) and ISO-aligned standards. These reviews are conducted annually by a third party and in line with best practice.


All information held within Manage My Health will be deleted on July 20th when we will be switching off Manage My Health and it will no longer be accessible.


Well makes looking after your health simple:

  • Easy to download and register
  • Book appointments for yourself or on behalf of your whānau
  • Request repeat prescriptions
  • Make payments
  • Message your general practice team
  • View lab results and consultation notes
  • Access your health information
  • Receive notifications and reminders on the app
  • Passcode, touch/facial recognition – no more forgetting your username and password!
    The Well patient portal is available on Android and iOS for mobile, and on your computer.

Your invite code to self-register for the Well patient portal will be sent to you on July 9th.
During the launch of the Well patient portal, patients will be able to use both platforms for a short period of time.
